
Largest U.S. Retirement Funds Assets Grew 8% to $6.5 trillion
The latest results from the Pensions & Investments 1,000 Largest U.S. Retirement Funds survey, the industry’s best-read report on the state of the pension industry, was published today and is now available in the P&I Research Center. Assets for the largest 1,000 retirement plans topped $6.5 trillion, an 8% gain from last year. Defined benefit assets of the funds totaled $4.65 trillion, an increase of 7%, while defined contribution assets increased 11% to reach $1.91 trillion.
